Shady Oaks Country Club Guest Policies
Guest Policy
The Club is restricted to use by members only. However, guests will be allowed use of Club facilities when accompanied by a member. Any unaccompanied guests must be approved by the Club Manager in coordination with a member sponsor. All guests will be the responsibility of the host member. This includes guest’s behavior and financial obligations (including guests who sign back to other reciprocal clubs).
Hours
The Gate is open from 4:30am to midnight Tuesday through Sunday and from 4:30am to 10pm on Monday.
Dress Code
Shady Oaks members and guests are required to wear appropriate attire. Gentlemen are asked to remove their hats while on the second floor of the clubhouse. No swimsuits are allowed in the clubhouse. Pool patrons are asked to utilize the restrooms in the Acorn Room. Medical attire including scrubs and lab coats are not allowed in the dining areas.
Cell Phones
Cell Phones must be left on silent or vibrate while inside the clubhouse. As a courtesy to other members of the Club, cell phone conversations are limited to the locker rooms, restrooms, and lobby only.
Non-Golf Related Activity On Course
All non-golf related activity by members including, but not limited to exercise, is only allowed within the first 30 minutes after official sunrise and during the 30-minute period immediately prior to official sunset and is not allowed at any other time. No fishing is allowed on the golf course at any time.
Smoking
Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is not permitted in the clubhouse, main entrance, Acorn Room, Live Oak patio or fenced in area around the pool. Smoking is allowed on the terrace patio and Ben Hogan Room patio.
Lost & Found Policy
All items left behind by members and/or guests will be processed by the Receptionist. We will make every possible effort to return any items that are turned in but will not accept responsibility for any lost items. Any articles not claimed within 30 days are subject to disposal.
Right Of Way
All delivery vehicles, while on Club property, must give the right of way to golf carts and pedestrians. The entrance to the delivery dock, which intersects with a golf cart path, will have a caution sign to reinforce this policy.
Firearms
Open carrying of firearms is not allowed on Shady Oaks Country Club property. The club follows local and state law regarding the concealed carrying of firearms.
Children
Children must be supervised at all times by member parents who are responsible for their children’s actions.
Pets
Non-Members are never allowed to bring dogs or any other kind of animal onto Shady Oaks Country Club property under any circumstances.
